Kelli McGrail

Kelli's roots trace back to Kennesaw, Georgia, where she fostered deep connections with her loved ones, a profound appreciation for softball, and a strong faith in Jesus. During her high school years, Kelli distinguished herself as the Impact Player of the Year and Gold Glove Award winner at Kennesaw Mountain High School. She excelled as the team captain, achieved First Team All-Region recognition, received an All Cobb County honorable mention, and earned a spot as a GADC Allstar. Her softball journey continued at Kennesaw State University during her
freshman year.

Despite her untimely passing, Kelli was on the path to earning a Magna Cum Laude Masters of Education Degree from the University of Georgia, with graduation scheduled for May 2022. She aspired to become a high school teacher, intending to share her passion for softball by coaching. Kelli had already earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University in May 2020.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Kelli actively participated in CrossFit and engaged in small group bible studies at Northstar in Kennesaw and Connections Church in Athens. Her enduring legacy lies in the lives she touched and led to the Lord. Kelli emanated positivity and contentment that inspired admiration from those around her. Her unwavering peace, she attributed to her devotion to Jesus. Kelli consistently extended invitations to church, desiring her friends to experience the boundless love of their Heavenly Father. Her impact on others ensures that many friends will one day join Kelli in walking the streets of gold, united by the faith she helped kindle.

Through this Golf Tournament we will start a scholarship in Kelli's name, in which will be presented to a senior each year from here on out. Thank you for your support and participation.
